Healing with Thought Field Therapy

Treatable Conditions

The following are some examples of the emotional, psychological, and physical conditions that can be treated with Thought Field Therapy.

Treatment Procedure

The client and TFT practitioner discuss the nature of the underlying problem.  Based on this analysis, the practitioner identifies the specific problem or combination of problems to be treated, e.g., anger, or fear, or trauma, etc.

The client mentally focuses on the emotional or physical aspect of the problem (for example, thinking about the anger associated with a person or event).

The practitioner then takes the patient through a tapping sequence which stimulates the meridian points which will achieve a release from the disturbing feelings and a corresponding sense of relief from the negative emotion or sense of pain.

Release can be achieved in a matter of minutes or it may take one or more additional sessions with the therapist.  The client may be given some tapping sequences to use at home if the negative symptoms reappear.  As with any form of therapy, there are no guarantees, except that TFT does not cause harm.
